Linear Log Gamma is the shader of choice for Resident Evil 5, which can be used to create reflections, glares, and more. However, the shader only allows access to eight colors in a texture map. This causes a severe color blindness effect that needs to be fixed with a custom ShaderLogSlg that patches the issue. In this tutorial you will learn how to patch linear log gamma using ShaderLogSlg and UvToolkit. In order for the game code not to fail when it loads an incorrect invalid shader version from disk or memory, you should disable Linear Log Gamm as invalid as well as rename your disabled VTF file so it won't be loaded by engine code.
